The problem
The same report, the same numbers, the same copy and paste, every single month
The monthly pack pulled from the same sources each time. Building it meant opening each one, copying the figures across, laying them out the same way as last month, and writing a few lines of commentary.
It was hours of careful, repetitive work, and being manual it was easy to transpose a number or miss a source when the month was busy.
